Misson Statement


Valero Buying Club benefits its members by selecting, negotiating, implementing and tracking the best possible vendor programs on their behalf. Leveraging our manufacturer and distributor relationships, strategic marketing initiatives and tactical business programs, we maximize sales volume, reduce administrative issues and enhance profitability for our members. We will utilize the most appropriate channels to maximize value for our members. We will also work with our vendor partners to provide the tools necessary to validate our programs and ensure efficient implementation of negotiated initiatives.

History of the Valero Buying Club

Valero Buying Club was established in 2006 with the expressed purpose of providing support to Valero Oil Dealers. Our core business includes negotiations of products and services, couples with the necessary marketing support ensuring a competitive advantage for its members. Valero Buying Club continues to expand its membership through these programs.

The development of an annual program guide, monthly promotional offerings, website, field and telephone-based support calls and visits have proven to be successful. An established single source forum for vendor negotiations has created consistency in our programs. Our technology system provides informational support through velocity tracking, for proof of performance.

Valero Buying Club is confidently in a position to provide these same services - and more - to the entire network of all branded convenience/gas retailers. Given the aggressive forces working withing the marketplace, retailers will see substantial benefits from group buying and marketing support provided through Valero Buying Club.
